    1. +pletogra I really hope you didn’t end up buying it online. This is a RX
only medication and a lot of what you’ll see being sold online is NOT
genuine. See a dermatologist for a script for it please.

  1. This was very informative, Thank you, but how do you address the fact that
its a chemical, and the cream has several other “inactive” ingredients that
are also chemicals. If you put these on your skin it goes into the
bloodstream and your liver, etc has to deal with the toxic elements, etc.
I am wanting to use this cream, but I am concerned about this. Any
    thoughts? Thanks.

    1. Don’t worry about chemicals, there’s nothing wrong with them! As a matter
of fact, water is a chemical too and I bet you are not afraid to drink it.
Some people think “if it’s natural it must be good” and that’s not always
true: some poisons are natural as well. However, if you still want to use
Retin-A, you should visit your dermatologist. Just a friendly advice 🙂

  2. One more thought. If exfoliation is what you are after, a good glycol acid
in the right % for your skin will do you much better than Rentin-A.
Glycolic acid is from a natural plant and Retin–A is created in a
chemical lab. Check it out for yourself. Watch DermTV, Dr. Shultz is good
    on UT.

  3. A ninety year old infant ? I want that look. LOL. What are mother cells ?
Stem cells ? I see a scientist and pharmacist are impressed with the
science. Stick to teaching skin care. Interesting video though and you
look good. I too wonder why you need this at your age. When I was 30 people
thought me 18. I never used anything. A lot to do with genes too. We don’t
have much sun to lie in here. Good luck.

  4. Whilst your video was informative, you look between 19 and 25 yrs old.
Obviously your skin will be wrinkle free. You don’t need to use Retin A
unless you are a vain gay guy worried about ageing. You forgot to mention
Tretinoin causes photosensitivity, so only apply it at night and it’s
CRUCIAL to cover the face with a sunscreen during the day.

    1. If you can tolerate it, you can use Retin-A (tretinoin) first and then
apply your (fragance and drying alcohols free) moisturizer, if not, you can
mix it with your moisturizer or apply your moisturizer before your
tretinoin cream. Remember to wash your face with a gentle cleanser (no bar
soaps allowed) and then wait for 30 minutes for your skin to be dry to
avoid irritation. Use only a pea sized amount (Really, a pea sized) and use
it only at night. Wash it off in the morning and use a sunscreen SPF 30 or
      greater (sunscreen is a must).
By the way, this drug (tretinoin) is not a chemical exfoliant (glycolic
acid is, just to name one) and you should consider visiting a dermatologist
before using it because it has some side effects and you need a
prescription to buy it. Just a friendly advice. Hope that helps 🙂

  5. two years ago i have used tretinoin for my acne for about 1 year. it was a
nightmare. my skin never really got adapted to it and it was scaly and
extra dry all the time. I could never use a sunscreen because of the
scales, all of the sunscreens left a white chalky residue around the
scales. it was cosmetically unacceptable. and all of the distress was for
nothing, MY ACNE NEVER GOT CURED and I continued to get noduler acne
underneath my skin, and my skin was more oily than before…. oily and dry
at the same time, scaly and was like out of this world. it was a game
changer when I switched to accutane oral tablets…..

  6. I was prescripted the generic brand tretinoin 0.01 gel. Is this good for
anti aging effects. I am male 28 years old?
